About Us

Globe Media Times is an independent digital news outlet published for readers in the United States who follow world affairs because those affairs shape American prices, jobs, security and choices. Our tagline, “The world, reported in full,” describes a practical editorial promise: when a negotiation in Brussels, a shipping disruption in a distant strait, a central-bank decision, or a court ruling changes the cost of fuel, food, medicine or borrowing at home, we explain the connection clearly, with the facts in front of the interpretation.

Globe Media Times is part of the 24World Media network of news outlets. The network shares production standards, corrections discipline and publishing technology, while each outlet keeps its own editorial focus. Globe Media Times specialises in world and global affairs with a United States angle — diplomacy, trade, climate and energy, and global markets as they reach American readers. Sister outlets in the network cover United States news and, in the case of our Canadian outlet, Canada-first reporting. Stories are not cloned across the network. Each outlet writes its own report from verified sources, so a reader who visits more than one network site will find different reporting, not the same article with a different masthead.

What we cover

Our newsroom organises coverage into nine desks: World, Politics, Business, Technology, Sports, Entertainment, Health, Science and Video. The World desk follows diplomacy, trade agreements, sanctions, elections and conflicts where American interests, allies or supply chains are directly engaged. Politics covers United States government action with an international dimension — tariff authority, foreign assistance, defence posture and the domestic debate those choices create. Business follows global markets, energy, shipping, currencies and corporate decisions that move United States household costs and retirement savings. Technology covers semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data infrastructure and the export controls and industrial policy that now link Silicon Valley to national strategy.

Sports, Entertainment, Health and Science follow the same discipline: a World Cup security grant, an international fixture, a streaming shift, a change in vaccine guidance or a lunar data release matters to us when it affects American audiences, institutions or taxpayers — and we say why in the article. The Video desk publishes short viewing posts that embed material only from the official channel of the organisation that produced it, credited in the text. We never re-upload another publisher’s video as our own.

How we report

Every news article on Globe Media Times is written by our newsroom under the byline Staff Reports. That byline is deliberate. It means the article was prepared by the desk, checked against more than one reputable source, and published as institutional reporting rather than as an individual opinion. We do not invent facts, quotations or figures. Where reporting is based on a single source, or where outlets disagree, we attribute cautiously in the text — for example, “according to reports” — and we do not present estimates, forecasts or claims by interested parties as settled fact. Source names are kept in our internal run records; inside the article we focus on what is known, what is claimed, and what remains unconfirmed.

Photographs are part of the record, not decoration. News articles carry a real, free-licence photograph from Wikimedia Commons, downloaded and stored with the article, with the file name and licence recorded in the image caption and description. We do not hotlink images, generate them with artificial intelligence, or use branded placeholders. If an image is illustrative rather than a photograph of the specific event, the caption does not pretend otherwise.

Standards and accountability

Globe Media Times publishes eight companion pages that explain how we work: Services, Contact, Advertise, Corrections, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Website Disclaimer and Code of Ethics. They are not boilerplate. Our Code of Ethics sets out how we handle verification, attribution, conflicts of interest and the separation of news from advertising. Our Corrections page explains how to report an error and how we amend the record when we get something wrong — visibly, with the correction noted rather than silently overwritten. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are written in full legal style and describe, in plain structure, what information this website collects, how advertising and analytics operate, and the terms on which readers may use our material.

We do not accept payment to publish, suppress or alter news coverage. Advertising is labelled as advertising and sold separately from editorial decisions. Where we cannot verify a claim to our standard, we leave it out rather than publishing first and checking later.

Company information

Globe Media Times is published by 24World Media. Our published postal address is 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067, United States. The fastest way to reach the newsroom — with a news tip, a correction request, an advertising enquiry or a privacy or legal question — is the contact form on our Contact page. Messages submitted through that form are stored in our website database for the newsroom to review and are answered by email when a reply is needed. We do not publish a direct contact email address on this website.

Thank you for reading Globe Media Times. Whether you arrive from a search result, a shared link or a return visit, our aim is the same: a full, careful account of the world as it touches the United States, written once, checked properly, and corrected openly when necessary.
