Globe Media Times publishes one service: independent, advertising-supported digital journalism for United States readers. This page describes what that service includes, how each part works, and what readers, sources and business customers can and cannot expect from it. If you are looking for our company background, see About Us. If you want to reach us, use the form on our Contact page. Advertising terms are summarised here and detailed on our Advertise page.
1. News publishing
Our core service is the daily publication of original news articles across nine desks: World, Politics, Business, Technology, Sports, Entertainment, Health, Science and Video. Each article is written by our newsroom under the Staff Reports byline, checked against reputable reporting, and published with a licensed photograph whose file name and licence are recorded with the image. Articles are free to read. We do not operate a paywall, a meter, or a paid tier that unlocks fuller versions of a story, and we do not publish abbreviated “teaser” articles that require payment to complete.
Coverage is selective by design. Globe Media Times focuses on world affairs with a United States angle. We do not attempt to replicate wire-service volume, and we do not republish press releases as news. When we report a development, the article states what happened, why it matters to American readers, what is confirmed and what is still attributed or pending. Developing stories are updated in place; material changes follow the process on our Corrections page.
2. Video publishing
Our Video desk publishes short written introductions to video material produced by official organisations — space agencies, federations, leagues, health bodies and established news organisations. We embed the video from its official channel using the platform’s embed player, credit the channel in the article text, and link to the same official source. We do not download, re-upload, re-edit or monetise another organisation’s video, and we do not embed copies uploaded by unofficial channels. If embed permission is withdrawn by the owner, the video is removed and the article is amended or taken down.
3. Distribution and syndication
Globe Media Times is part of the 24World Media network. Network membership provides shared publishing infrastructure and standards; it does not provide a cloning service. The same story is not distributed verbatim to every network outlet. Each outlet commissions and writes its own coverage. Organisations interested in legitimate content distribution, licensing or republication of Globe Media Times material should contact us through the Contact form, selecting the advertising and partnerships topic, and should not scrape, mirror or republish our articles without written permission. Limited quotation with attribution and a link, as described in our Terms of Service, does not require prior permission; full-text republication does.
4. Advertising services
We sell clearly labelled display advertising on our articles and section pages. Available placements, formats and current rates are provided on request through our Advertise page; we do not publish a rate card that would go stale, and we do not sell editorial coverage, article placement presented as news, or undisclosed sponsored content. Advertisers may buy space; they may not buy conclusions, headlines, or the suppression of reporting. All advertising is visually or textually distinguished from editorial material, and sponsored material, if ever accepted, will be labelled as sponsored. We reserve the right to decline advertising that is deceptive, unlawful, or inconsistent with reader safety, without explanation beyond that statement.
5. Corrections, archives and availability
Our publishing service includes a maintained archive. Articles remain available at their original addresses after publication; when an article is materially corrected, the correction is shown on the article itself under our Corrections policy rather than the archive being rewritten without trace. Developing stories are updated at the same address so that a link shared earlier leads to the current, corrected version. If an article must be removed for legal reasons, the address will show that removal has occurred rather than silently recycling the link for unrelated material. Category pages list the current reporting for each desk; the Video archive collects only our official-embed viewing posts, so readers who prefer to watch rather than read can use a single desk without encountering re-uploaded or unofficial copies.
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting incidents and third-party platform changes — for example, a video owner withdrawing embed permission — can temporarily affect a page or a single element of it. Where an embedded video becomes unavailable, we amend or remove the affected post rather than substituting an unofficial copy. Readers who find a broken page, a missing image or an unavailable embed should tell us through the Contact form under “Technical problem”; such reports are part of how this service is maintained.
6. What we do not offer
To avoid misunderstanding: Globe Media Times does not offer public-relations representation, guaranteed placement, paid reviews, link-selling, reputation management, or the removal of accurate published reporting in exchange for payment. We do not provide personal data about readers to advertisers beyond the aggregate, privacy-respecting measurement described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell subscriptions, merchandise, event tickets, financial products, medical advice or legal advice. Health and science articles report published guidance and research; they are not a substitute for professional advice, as our Website Disclaimer explains.
7. Service standards and changes
We aim to keep every published page complete and functional: no placeholder text, no empty category, no form that does not store what it promises to store. The contact form stores submissions in our website database for newsroom review; it confirms receipt on screen. It does not, by itself, create a subscription, a contract or an advertising booking. We may change formats, desks or placements over time; material changes to legal terms are made by updating the relevant page, and the updated page governs from publication. Questions about any service on this page should be sent through the Contact form so they reach the right desk with a clear topic line.
